How did you meet?

Olivia moved to Denver in July 2021 right after she graduated from school. We worked for the same company at the time and Taylor got the opportunity to move from Spokane to Denver for a promotion towards the end of 2021. We went from being great teammates at work, to friends, to realizing we make a pretty good team in life too.

Who made the first move?

Taylor: Olivia did

Where was our first trip together? 

First trip together was to Chicago! Taylor got to meet Olivia's family and we spent a day exploring the city together. We stayed the night in a hotel along the river and had a night on the town. Chicago holds a special place because it was the first time we said "I love you" (post lemon drop shot). 

Our first international trip was to Cabo for New Years in 2022! We absolutely loved it when we went. Cabo was just the beginning of our life long adventures so we wanted to bring everyone back with us for the wedding! A full circle moment <3

What is your favorite memory with each other?

Taylor: My favorite memory is when we were in Moab, Utah and we rented a 4x4 to go on the Hells Revenge off-roading trail (yes the name was fitting). We took turns driving and I learned that day Olivia was fearless. Without hesitation she sent us over a "small boulder" which at one point had us in damn near a 90 degree angle and she just laughed as I was worried for our lives. Moab is a trip I will not forget and this moment is one that makes me smile to this day. Fun Fact: We did not have to go off the boulder and there was a nice easy road to our left. 

Olivia: Hmmm hard to chose just one! One of my favorites is when we rented an ATV in Costa Rica and drove up and down the coast beach hopping for the day. We found the most beautiful, serene, picture-perfect beach called Punta Uva. Looked just like a postcard. We were carefree just living in the moment. I love all of our adventures together! 

What is your favorite way of spending time together?

Taylor: Dancing, cuddling, hiking, or going to the airport together

Olivia: I love going to concerts and trying new restaurants together. I also love our grocery store and costco trips :) Oh and binge watching Gordan Ramsey shows. 

How did you get engaged?

Taylor popped he question on top of a mountain in Colorado overlooking an alpine lake. Colorado is where we fell in love, and hiking is one our favorite things to do together. 

Why did you decide on a destination wedding?

We decided on a destination wedding because our friends and family are scattered all over the country. Instead of everyone just flying in for one night, we wanted to turn it into a chance to spend real time together. A destination wedding lets us celebrate in a beautiful place and enjoy a few extra days of laughs, memories, and a few margaritas with all of you!
